Ingo lived in Dahab on the Sinai Peninsula from 1979 onwards. Since then, he photographed the lives of the Bedouin, the beauty of the desert, and the fascinating underwater world. He was undoubtedly one of the diving pioneers on the Sinai. As early as the beginning of the 1980s, he organized diving safaris to the most beautiful spots in the Gulf of Aqaba. Many fondly remember this time when diving was barely organized and hardly regulated.
Since 2010, Ingo has been enjoying his well-deserved retirement. But diving still takes place in the Gulf of Aqaba. The diving trips are still offered, only now they are organized by Dahab Divers and are mainly limited to the dive sites around Dahab.
On this website Ingo shows a selection of his pictures from 1979 to 2010.
